NEW WORK: The Anamorph Aether; a quintessent collage

Who are you? Does the internet know?
Skewed Visions presents the second episode of Cubicle2. Created by a different artist each month, these online experiments are original creations on the theme of identity in the age of the internet.

This second episode of this new season is by local artist Avye Alexandres. Her piece,
The Anamorph Aether; a quintessent collage, explores the construction of identity of self and place through the ruptures and mergings that technology makes possible between the virtual and the physical. From the warmth of one's bed to the vast clattering emptiness of multiple virtual landscapes, The Anamorph Aether is a voyage through the veil that separates who we are from what we have created.

Personal note:
I am quite honored to have created this piece for the Cubicle series. As well, I am so excited to be sharing the bill with the other 11 artists who are involved in this years season. It's an allstar list of innovative and intelligent people, so please bookmark the page to view their pieces throughout the year.
Also, Skewed Visions, in a smart and generous effort to pay contributing artists for their work, has connected with GiveMN, a secure donation center. At the bottom of each episode page there is a green Donate now button. If you are able, please consider a donation to the season.
